How it is treated with physical therapy

Current research indicates that the most effective treatment for Peyronie’s is therapeutic ultrasound1.

Your Homework

Dr. Balzer will give you specific home stretches you can do to assist with the break down of the scar tissue.

How many sessions

The general treatment guidelines recommend 12 office visits over the course of 4 weeks.

On average, this approach can reduce curvature by about 17 degrees. For someone with a mild curve, that improvement can feel very significant. For more severe curvatures, it may not be a “cure,” but it can still provide meaningful change
