“Why has no one ever told me this before?”
– Every postpartum patient I’ve ever had when I explain how they ended up with their condition

Year after year I have been hearing this and year after year I comment on how strapped Doctors are for time, and how there is just too much information to get everything across in the short time you have during a prenatal visit. Our medical model revolves around fixing problems when they arise and completely neglects prevention. It is my passion as a pelvic health specialist to help inform and prevent conditions that can arise in pregnancy, labor, delivery, and in the postpartum time.
This is a highly inspired project that has become my baby (along with the other 2 human ones I gave birth to), and I can’t wait to share it with you!

I have created a packet of information outlining all the most common conditions that arise during this time.
With each condition I discuss the following:
- What the condition is
- What causes it
- The symptoms
- How to prevent it
- What to do if you end up with it
The Prenatal Preventative visit is meant to be given during an hour session to go over each of the conditions with you and answer any questions you may have. The packet contains the overview and bullet points, but during the session you get the detailed breakdown and how they relate to your personal health.
