Dr. Balzer uses Embodia for HIPAA compliant video chat communication. Your confirmation and reminder emails with have a link to click at the time of your appointment that will take you to the video chat room.
Do I need a referral?
No. Connecticut is an open-access state, so you do not need a referral to see a physical therapist. You can schedule directly with me and I will communicate with your physician directly if needed. If you do have a referral for another physical therapist, know that it is your choice whom you go to, you do not have to see the physical therapist on the referral if you feel you would be better served elsewhere.
